Presentation Evening

- Congratualtions to those who competed in the Melbourne Marathon on Sunday with many PB's achieved including Julian Spence (2.27 & a gold medal for the Victorian Team), Brett Coleman (2.32), Colin Thornton (2.32), Scott Rantall (2.34) & Nat Mensch (3.07).
- Well done to Mark Tucker who managed to win the 10k event at the Melbourne Marathon in a sprint finish!

- Well done to Scott Rantall, Julian Spence & Brett Coleman who have all been selected in the Victorian team for the Melbourne Marathon that doubles as the Australian Marathon Championships for 2009.

- Everything is through from the Geelong AV Race. We scored 3rd in the Div 1 Men, U16 Women & U14 men and 6th in Div 1 Women. Check out the results, report & photos. 2008 results are in the results section.

- Well done to the open men's Div 1 team who bounced back from 7th at coliban to finish 2nd yestreday at Bundoora. Check out the Open results, report and photos. The junior results will follow once deduced from the school results.
- Well done to Mark Tucker who won the Launceston 10k today in 29.01 (last 5k in 14.10) against many of Australia's top distance runners. Also well done to Steve Moneghetti who ran an age world record of 30.00 in the 45-49yo category.

- Congratulations to Lee Troop on his win at the Gold Coast 10k today in 29.28 with 2.24 marathon pacing duties 15min later for 30k!.
- Well done to Kristen Wyatt finishing the marathon in 15th place in 3.04.50 and to Julie McNamara 3.17.44. Unfortunately Simon Gower ran (literally!) into trouble early on & was forced to withdraw.
